Design and Materials
This custom cabin is built with 70mm logs for strength and insulation. Insulated floor and roof means the cabin is comfortable all year round whatever the weather. Ground screw base and decking with steps for easy access and a porch area.
External Finishing
Black roofing shingles give the cabin a modern look. Externally painted in Sadolin natural which matches the surrounding garden and protects the cabin from the elements. Hand painted finish gives the cabin a personal touch and bespoke feel.
Installation Issues
One of the challenges of this project was the unloading. The cabin was situated at the back of the clients garden and access was via a set of steep steps. Our team showed great skill and patience and spent almost a whole day unloading the materials without damaging anything.
Timeframe and Completion
Despite the installation issues the log cabin games room project was completed in 5 days. This included construction and assembly of the cabin, external hand painted finish and base works. Our project management ensured minimal disruption to the client so they could enjoy their new games room ASAP.
