Granny Annexe Case Study: A Gloucester Garden Transformation
Our latest project in Gloucester is a testament to this philosophy: a beautiful and functional 7m x 4m granny annexe log cabin.
We at Timber Building Specialists believe there can be no better question to ask a customer than“what cabin can we design for you?”. With over 30 years’ experience we know that it is important to be able to rely on us when choosing your next home or office space. That’s why we offer a bespoke log cabinservice where we work closely with you throughout every step of the process so that your vision becomes reality. Create your own garden office, Summer House, holiday retreat, residential log cabin or garden pub, the possibilities are endless and we are here for you every step of the way!
First step will be to take measurements of the area and size of your log cabin. Your log cabin will be manufactured to the exact size, so these need to be accurate. If you would prefer, we can come and measure them for you.
Sketch out the layout of the desired log cabin, wether you're planning a summer house, games room or garden office, it all starts with a basic sketch of the rooms, window positions, doors etc. This can be a rough sketch on a piece of scrap paper or a detailed drawing, we will produce the blueprints from your design.
Email your designs to us using the form above and one of our specialists will be in touch to go through the designs, suggest any changes and finalise the details, we will then draft up some official blueprints which we will send to you for approval or for further changes along with the quote. This is your chance to specify any extras you require, like fitting, roof coverings, log thickness, types of windows and doors and more.
Once you approve the quote, design and details, we will lock in the design and discuss the payment plan. Once the initial payment is received, your log cabin is sent to the warehouse to be manufactured.
If you are interested in transforming your garden with a log cabin, then we offer a full no-obligation consultation and a site visit to advise you on your best option.
